With Onelot Ocelot, you can encrypt your confidential files like a pro. Encrypt all sensitive data to protect yourself against computer snooping by governments, private individuals, or corporations. You can encode or decode any number of files in one session – conveniently via drag and drop. Importantly, we do not predefine the associated key file and you can select it freely. The key file extension can be any, e.g., “.pdf” or “.mp4.” The encryption principle is the mathematically unbreakable One- Time Pad method. Clearly, one crucial requirement of the One-Time Pad encryption with Ocelot is that the key takes up at least as much storage space as the data or files you encode. In addition to the OTP, the app inverts the encoded bytes for additional data protection. Moreover, the encrypted files are identifiable by the file extension “.ocelot”. Besides, the app optionally logs the encoding process for each session, in order to inform you always about the encoded file bundles and the key used. Send “ocelot” files instead of plaintext files by sharing the key via another channel (e.g., email combined with the cloud).
